Mike Walker birthed “The Stripe Wizard” out of his home in 2003. Though he had been doing body and mechanical work since he was 12, 2003 was the first attempt at going into business for himself. He spent years working for large dealerships, managing body shops across the region and mentoring many. The name “The Stripe Wizard” came from the fact that Mr. Walker got his initial fame “striping” cars across the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas. His customers were absolutely amazed at his talent, care for their vehicle and attention to detail thus earning the coveted nickname, “The Stripe Wizard”. Mr. Walker decided to keep that name as his fame spread and business boomed. From humble beginnings in 2003 until now, Mr. Walker and his business partner are now the proud owners of “The Stripe Wizard Auto Body Shop” – still amazing customers and making each one feel like a part of the Stripe Wizard family. The Stripe Wizard is your neighborhood car shop with folks you can trust with your car.
